Mirajkar, who recently faced elimination from Bigg Boss 19, has now opened up about what really pushed her and boyfriend Awez Darbar to take up the reality show together. In an exclusive chat with Zoom, the digital star revealed how their decision was not an overnight one but came after another project fell through. She also explained how the show became the perfect platform for them to reveal their relationship publicly.

From Khatron Ke Khiladi to Bigg Boss 19

Nagma recalled how Bigg Boss wasn’t initially on her radar. She shared, “Iss saal mujhe ek reality show aaya tha before Bigg Boss, mujhe aur Awez ko, jo ki hai Khatron Ke Khiladi. And hum dono ne uske liye haan kar di ki. Bahut fun hai aur alag kar kuch hai. And unfortunately vo postpone ho gaya ya delay hokar cancel ho gaya. Kuch to hua vo hold par chala gaya.”It was only after this sudden cancellation that the offer for Bigg Boss came to them. Nagma revealed, “And then usi ke beech mein humein turant aa jata hai ki ek kaam karo Bigg Boss aa raha hai to aap ek baar aake meeting kar lo. To main aisi thi ki Bigg Boss karun ki nahi karun? Because mujhe bhi sure nahi tha. You know you have to be like mentally very strong. You have to be all out. On revealing her relationship with Awez on National TV

The digital creator admitted that the idea of doing Bigg Boss wasn’t easy. But eventually, Awez convinced her. She said, "Maine socha ki mujhe karna hai nahi karna hai, kya hai? Dekho main baatein bahut karti hoon, fun hoon, point of view rakhti hoon. But ek thoda aapka ek alag angle chahiye in the show. Vo main andar jaake samjhi hoon by the way. Awez was like let’s do it. Itne saal se you know humne socha karte hain nahi karte hain. Is saal let’s do it because humko humara relationship bhi reveal karna tha."She further added how the plan shifted from Khatron Ke Khiladi to Bigg Boss 19: “So Khatron Khiladi mein karne wale the jo nahi hua. To humne socha ek kaam karte hain, let’s reveal it in Bigg Boss. Because it’s a platform jahan itne saare log dekhte hain. TV audience dekhti hai aur hamari jo TikTok ki audience thi pehle jo I think hum jin ko kho chuke hain.
