Boat Stone Arc Pro Review: 4 Reasons To Buy This Speaker, 1 To Skip

audio brand boAt recently launched its new Stone Arc series of Bluetooth speakers in India, which includes three models -- Stone Arc, Stone Arc Pro and Stone Arc Pro Plus. I tested the mid-variant the boAt Stone Arc Pro which offers a 25W output, RGB LED lighting, and IPX5 splash resistance.Priced at just Rs 3,499, the Stone Arc Pro is made for those who wants a loud good looking speaker without spending too much. After using it for a few days, here is my full review and four reasons why I really liked the boAt Stone Arc Pro and one reason why it might not be perfect for everyone.

Four Reasons Why You Should Consider The Boat Stone Arc Pro

Design

I really like the design of the Boat Stone Arc Pro. It’s small, strong and comes with a handle, so I can carry it anywhere easily. It feels heavy, which makes me feel that it won’t break easily. The speaker also has IPX5 splash resistance, so I don’t have to worry about light spills or rain.

On the left side, you get all the buttons you need -- there’s a power button, an LED light button, a play/pause button, and volume controls.You can also uses power button to switch between different modes easily. There’s a covered flap with a Type-C charging port and an AUX port next to it. You can play music using a cable or connect wirelessly with Bluetooth 5.3, which can be paired phone. I connected it with my iPhone 16 pro and the pairing was smooth.

I'm impressed with the built. I carried the speaker easily from my room to the living room or kitchen without any problem. Basically, it’s made for everyday use. Whether I’m just resting in my room, chilling on the sofa, or spending a small family time with good music, it ticked most of the right boxes here.

Performance

The first thing I noticed is how loud and clear it is. The 25W speaker can easily fill a medium-sized room, whether you are sitting with your friends or family chatting on various national issues, or hosting a small get-together and even watching an episode of your any favourite Netflix series, the speaker is good enough to address these requirements.

The sound on the Stone Arc Pro is really balanced. The bass is strong but it doesn’t overpower the vocals. Songs like Ye Dil Deewana feel lively and energetic, while softer tracks like The Skyfall still sound clear and warm. Even at around 80 per cent volume, I didn’t notice any disturbance, which is pretty impressive for this price.

RGB Lights

The Stone Arc Pro ha RGB lights at the back and honestly, they’re really fun. The lights sync with the music and instantly give a party vibe.

Even when I turned off the main lights of my room at night, the speaker’s RGB glow alone was enough to create a cozy and relaxing mood. It softly lit up the room, making the music feel more immersive without being too distracting.

Good Battery And Connectivity

The battery lasts well, I got around 10–12 hours of playback at medium volume with the lights on. Charging is easy with USB-C, and it takes about two hours to fully charge. Bluetooth 5.3 worked perfectly. Pairing was quick, and the connection stayed stable even when my phone was in another room. I could also connect it to multiple devices, like my secondary phone and my MacBook Air without any problems.

Reason To Skip

The only problem I noticed was music depth. Fast or instrumental songs/music can feel a bit cramped. For example I played some BGM of Interstellar and Titanic and I wasn't impressed with detailing.

When the volume is very high, the bass gets a little flat, and the instruments don’t sound very clear. For normal listening, this isn’t a big issue, but if you like very deep and detailed music, it might feel a bit weak.

Verdict

Launched at 3,299, the boAt Stone Arc Pro is currently available at Rs 2,999 on company's official website. At this price, I feel it is a great buy. The speaker is loud, clear, has enough bass and looks stylish. You can easily carry if you like go on treks or small vacations with your friends and family. The RGB lights, long battery life, and waterproof design make it a solid choice for daily use.
