BTS' Butter Holds No 1 Biggest Streaming Week In Billboard Global 200 History For 4 Years Straight; APT Surpasses Jungkook's Seven

BTS released its track Butter in 2021 and it started collecting records like pearls. Even after four years, the global smash hit holds an unbroken feat. The K-pop group's single continues to lead with
the largest single-week streams (289.2 million) on the Billboard Global 200, a record it set in 2021. As of October 18, 2025 chart, the feat remains under its stronghold.

Meanwhile, Blackpink member Rosé's APT featuring Bruno Mars, achieved the biggest streaming week for any female solo artist at 224 million streams. It surpassed the previous holding by Jungkook's Seven and Miley Cyrus' Flowers as soloists. Infact, Seven also remained the biggest sales debut in Billboard Global 200 history by any artist, and held the No 3 slot with 217.1 million streams in the ranking.
BTS members Jungkook, Jin, J-Hope, and Jimin also kept strong chart positions with their solo hits, reiterating the K-pop band's global domination despite a hiatus from active music production for around 2 years due to the group's military service.

A second one said, "Butter still holds? That’s what happens when timing meets momentum we study that too." A netizen took a jibe and said, "the question is, will bts be able to break bts’ record with their next comeback. bcs only they can do it." Other were hopeful. "They will break their own record in 2026."
