THIS US Company Welcomes New Joiners With Mattress- However, NOT For Mid-Work Naps, But For Night Stays!
Imagine cracking a job interview and finally joining the company. However, along with the much-awaited offer letter, imagine that you also get a mattress! Sounds fun, correct? In fact, it sounds like one
of those offices that happily offer a nap room or beds for mid-work rests and naps. Well- wrong! If you thought that the said mattresses were for mid-day naps, then allow us to break your delusion, as it turned out that the mattresses were for you to sleep at the office after late-night work- so that you can avoid wasting your time in commuting back to home! A man’s LinkedIn post recently went viral, where he shared the same story. As per the post, his company offers a mattress to every new employee. The man further stated that his employees ‘work hard and sleep in the office’, because they are “producing some of the most meaningful work that is happening”. As per the post, the man further explained how it’s normal for his employee to stop working at 4 AM. The man then invited people to join his organisation, stating how his employees work ‘7 days a week’- to ‘build a generational company’. Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post.

“There's one thing every Corgi employee gets as a welcome gift. Every employee gets a full size mattress for the office (preferably from Costco Wholesale) with their offer letter. We work hard and sleep in the office because we're producing some of the most meaningful work that is happening right now. The mattress comes in clutch when you don't want to walk or bus back home at 4am. It's also pretty nice having zero commute the next morning. This is how we grow fast and we're always looking for more cracked engineers to join our team in sf. Comment your email if this gets you going. We'll reach out. P.S. reach out only if you're cracked, down to work 7 days, and ready to build a generational company,” the post read. The post was shared on LinkedIn, by the handle ‘Josh Jung’. The post was shared a while back and pulled many reactions from people.

Which is it- do you buy every person a letter, or do you not buy any furniture? Inquiring minds what to know,” a user said. “I thought we would go hard. This is sick,” commented another. “So none of your employees have kids or family. At Converge Bio we measure results and not time in the office. We buy every employee home office equipment. Most of our employees have kids and families - making them stay at the office 24/7 is not sustainable in the long term - and I wouldn't even want it for myself. That said - good luck with your strategy and execution, and I wish you all the best,” added another.ALSO READ: Cruise Passenger Gets Stuck INSIDE Waterslide!
