Harlan Coben’s Run Away to premiere in 2026
On X (formerly Twitter), Netflix UK and Ireland shared new stills and wrote, "Here's a first look at your next New Year’s must-watch. Starring James Nesbitt, Ruth Jones, Minnie Driver, and Alfred Enoch. Harlan Coben’s RUN AWAY, out on 1st of January 2026." The tagline of the thriller series asks, how far would you go to bring her back?
The first still shows James Nesbitt and Minnie Driver during happier times at home. The second still has Ruth Jones standing behind a police tape at a crime scene, while the third sees Harry Potter's Alfred Enoch as a police officer about to raise his hands in surrender.ALSO READ: Missing You Review: Harlan Coben Mystery Thriller Series Is Too Muddled To Make An ImpactThe eight-episode limited series also stars Lucian Msamati, Jon Pointing, Tracy-Ann Oberman, Annette Badland, Maeve Courtier-Lilley, Ellie de Lange, Adrian Greensmith, Ellie Henry, Ingrid Oliver, Finty Williams, Joe McGann, and Amy Gledhill. The British series is co-directed by Nimer Rashed and Isher Sahota. Like previous titles, Coben's novel has been relocated from the US to the UK for this story. The official synopsis of Run Away states, "Simon (Nesbitt) had the perfect life: loving wife and kids, great job, beautiful home. But then his eldest daughter Paige ran away, and everything fell apart. So now, when he finds her, vulnerable and strung out on drugs in a city park, he finally has the chance to bring his little girl home.
