While there’s always a pang of longing for the familiar traditions of my childhood home, the truth is, I couldn’t be happier about my company." For Jatin, this Diwali is special because he gets to celebrate it with his wife and little daughter, who is almost two years old. "This will be her second Festival of Lights, and I know the sheer joy of the diyas and shimmering lights will be absolutely magical for her. I’m looking forward to watching her tiny face light up with wonder, which is the best gift a parent could ask for. Our plan is simple but centered on warmth and togetherness. We are going to have a gala time cooking a special feast together—all the classics that make Diwali taste like home. Later in the evening, we'll call over a few close friends who also couldn’t make it back to their hometowns," he added. On a concluding note, Jatin mentioned that their Diwali celebrations include music, diyas, good food and laughter. This year, the festival of lights will be more about intimacy and love of creating new traditions with the people who matter most, revealed Jatin. "It’s going to be a beautifully bright and memorable Diwali," he said, while signing off.Do you find this article useful?
