a lookout notice was issued against Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra, Mumbai Police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) summoned the businessman for questioning. During the investigation, Kundra reportedly claimed that Bipasha Basu and Neha Dhupia were paid a part of the money as fees. According to the latest development, the EOW is planning to send notices to the actresses along with Balaji Entertainment’s founder, Ekta Kapoor. This comes after investigators tracked direct transfers worth nearly Rs 25 crore to accounts linked with Shilpa, Bipasha, Neha, and Balaji Entertainment.

As per NDTV, a source told, “We will also ask them how the money was disbursed. Letters will soon be sent to them.” The report further mentioned that the investigating agency believes that Best Deal TV Pvt Ltd paid many celebrities to promote the brand. The investigation will include identifying the payment procedure and examining if any irregularities occurred. The Mumbai Police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has recently recorded Raj’s statement in connection with an alleged Rs. 60 crore fraud case. In a statement, Mumbai Police shared an update in the case and stated: “Investigations are going on against actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra in an alleged fraud case of Rs. 60 crore. A summon was issued by the Economic Offences Wing of Mumbai Police to Raj Kundra. He was asked to appear before police for the investigation.”Amid the ongoing investigation, Raj has been asked to submit videos produced for “Best Deal.” While he claimed these had already been handed over to the Property Cell, officials plan to take them into custody again for further examination.Do you find this article useful?
