and is expected to release on June 12, 2026. Now, according to the latest reports, the duo is all set to work on yet another project and currently, it is under consideration.

Rajinikanth X Nelson Again?

According to a report by Valai Pechu, director Nelson Dilipkumar narrated a fresh subject to Rajinikanth during the shoot of Jailer 2. Apparently, the superstar was impressed with the narration and is keen on working on the project. The actor is scheduled to work on his film with Kamal Haasan and then again, work with Nelson for their next. Superstar Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated film Jailer 2, a sequel to the 2023 blockbuster film Jailer, has been in the buzz ever since its announcement. Written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film's shoot is currently undergoing in Kerala.

The film starred Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, Yogi Babu and several others in prominent roles alongside Rajinikanth.In a casting coup that has created a strong buzz about the film, Bollywood veteran Mithun Chakraborty is all set to share screen space with Superstar Rajinikanth in Jailer 2. He is said to play a full-fledged role, which is instrumental to the film's story.Previously, Rajinikanth made special appearances in two of Mithun Chakraborty's films.
