Aahana Kumra, widely known for her roles in Lipstick Under My Burkha, has opened up about a scary phase she experienced after her stint on the reality show Rise and Fall. The actress, who made her reality show debut with the series, was evicted after spending over three weeks in the game, alternating between the mansion and the basement as part of the ruler-worker dynamics.Speaking exclusively to Telly Talk India/Zoom, Aahana revealed that after a particular comment she made about Pawan Singh during the second week, she faced an unexpected wave of trolling and even threats from his fans.

Aahana on getting trolled

Aahana shared, “Kaafi rise and fall hua. Main wahan se nikli aur maine dekha ki mera poora Instagram exploded tha. Kaafi dhamkiyan mili hui thi mujhe. And main samajh nahi pa rahi thi aisa kyun ho raha hai.”(There were many ups and downs. When I came out, I saw that my entire Instagram had exploded. I had received several threats, and I couldn’t understand why this was happening.)She continued, “Lekin mujhe samajh mein aaya kyunki maine show mein second week mein jo Pawan ji ke baare mein kaha, vo unke fans ko accha nahi laga. To uske liye bahut trolling hui hai.”(But then I understood that it was because of what I said about Pawan ji in the second week of the show, which his fans did not like. Because of that, I was heavily trolled.)The actress admitted that it was her first time facing trolling at such a level. “Meri life mein maine kabhi trolling nahi dekhi thi is hadh ki aur is level ki. To maine pehli baar vo experience kiya aur main kafi dari hui thi.”(In my life, I had never experienced trolling of this extent and level. For the first time, I went through it and I was really scared.)

Aahana says Pawan Singh has huge fandom

While the backlash was overwhelming, Aahana also expressed understanding of the emotions of Pawan Singh's massive fan following. “But I understand ki fans hain unka ek emotion hota hai apne superstar ko lekar. And Pawan ji bahut bade hain Bihar mein, UP mein. Unke bahut fans hain. Unka bahut bada fandom hai. To agar main kuch bhi unke baare mein bolun to log mujhi ko bura bhala kahenge.”(But I understand that fans have an emotional connection with their superstar. Pawan ji is very big in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. He has a massive fanbase and a huge fandom. So if I say anything about him, people will start criticising me.)
