The sleeper success of The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call has pushed Netflix to greenlight its next installments. As per reports, the show led by Ju Ji-Hoon, along with Choo Young-Woo, Ha Young, Yoon Kyung-Ho
and Jung Jae-Kwang is set to return with back-to-back new seasons. The Trauma Code premiered in January 2025, and emerged as one of the first hits of the year.

According to Allkpop, the simultaneous production for its Season 2 and Season 3 was confirmed on September 23. The report further stated that preparations for the shooting were officially underway and planned to begin around summer 2026. Following this, a Netflix representative told OSEN, "We appreciate the interest in The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call. The production of sequels is currently under review. Nothing has been finalized yet," in an official statement.
