Superman Kicks Off MASSIVE FYC Oscar Campaign In Top Categories; Expected To Face Marvel's Thunderbolts, The Fantastic Four

Superman's reign is not over this year. Warner Bros. have mounted an ambitious awards campaign for the James Gunn-David Corenswet movie. Soon after wrapping up its theatrical run, the superhero flick is gearing
up for the awards season. And the studio is seemingly backing it all up in key categories. As per reports, Superman has been submitted for awards consideration across multiple top categories at the Oscars and Golden Globes, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor.
Superman at Oscars, Golden Globes?
On October, reports came in that the DC Universe installment is now getting ready for the award season. Apart from major categories, Superman is also vying for Best Adapted Screenplay for Gunn, apart from several cast members looking for acting categories, including Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Hoult.
Superman's FYC campaign
Superman kicked off James Gunn-led DCU's Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters. While there are many more movies lined up in the slate, DC Studios is already looking to push Superman as 2025 entry.Warner Bros. Pictures has seemingly launched an ambitious "FYC" campaign (For Your Consideration) ahead of next year's awards ceremonies, including the Oscars and Golden Globes. Many expect something similar to happen at Marvel Studios too, with Thunderbolts* and The Fantastic Four: First Steps getting into the "FYC" campaign too, when Disney gets into motion with its own awards season plans in the coming weeks.
Superman beyond technical categories
Superman released on July 11, and went on to become the year's highest-grossing superhero movie, giving a strong start to the new DCU.
