The Untold Story of a Yogi, starring Anant V Joshi, is one of the few Hindi films releasing this week. Directed by Ravindra Gautam, the film initially faced hurdles for its theatrical release. CBFC had earlier denied giving it a certificate. However, the Bombay High Court greenlit Ajey: The Untold Story of a Yogi's big screen release. Ahead of the film's September 19 release, Paresh Rawal responded to the CBFC's objections regarding the film.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Paresh Rawal was asked if it is difficult to make a political film in India now. Reacting to this, the actor said, "It’s tough to make any film, aisa lag raha hai mujhe toh abhi."He added that social media can take toll on anyone. However, the actor believes, "If your neeyat and neeti are good, and the film has been made with honesty, then you should not think about people’s opinions. The film is based on the life of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. "Yogi ji jaisa character hai toh maamla critical ho jata hai, CBFC saavdhan rehti hai. During the proceedings the court asked their lawyer, ‘Have you watched the film or read the book it’s based on?’ He had not," he mentioned.
