The response has been overwhelming. It’s amazing to see how audiences today are open to new styles of storytelling — they appreciate honesty and experimentation,” Sharad reacted.Known for his passion and precision, Sharad admitted he is his own biggest critic. “Growth happens when you step out of your comfort zone. I never want to get complacent.”Reflecting on his journey, he adds, “I’ve learned that art isn’t about perfection; it’s about connection. Whether it’s a daily soap, a music video, or a web series, I just want to move people — make them laugh, cry, think, or remember something about themselves through my work.”
OTT ventures
The rise of OTT, he believes, has brought a creative revolution. The actor felt, “OTT has changed the way we consume entertainment. It’s given actors a platform to experiment without being boxed into a particular image. I love that freedom — you can play a hero, a flawed lover, or even an anti-hero, and the audience embraces it if you’re sincere.”Sharad also emphasised that learning never stops for an artist. “I actually don’t watch my own work,” he admits with a smile. “Once a project is done, I like to move on and focus on what’s next. For me, growth comes from living new experiences, observing people, and bringing those truths into my performances. I never want to stop experimenting — that’s what keeps the actor in me alive," he shared. Sharad concluded by saying, “I feel blessed that my audience has allowed me to reinvent myself time and again. Every role, every project is a new beginning — and as long as I can keep learning, performing, and touching hearts, I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.”
