Kalyani Priyadarshan Teases Genie Song Abdi Abdi, Calls It 'Important Part Of Story' Because Of THIS Reason

Kalyani Priyadarshan is all set for another theatrical release, Genie. Taking to her social media handle, the actress expressed her excitement while mentioning the song Abdi Abdi and the shooting days.

Furthermore Kalyani hopes for a positive response of the film from the audience.

Taking to her official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Kalyani Priyadarshan wrote, "As an actor, I always try to push and challenge myself to do things I’ve never done before. This song was one of those moments. Directed by debutant Bhuvanesh Arjunan, the film is produced by Ishari K Ganesh under Vels Films International. Jayam, Krithi Shetty, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Wamiqa Gabbi and Devayani also star in the film with music by Rahman.

Lokah Chapter 1 on OTT

Recently released Malayalam superhero film Lokah Chapter 1, featuring Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen became the highest grossing film in the language. Produced by Dulquer Salmaan, it was making headlines for the OTT release in October. But, on September 23, the producer gave an official statement on the rumours saying, "Lokah isn’t coming to OTT anytime soon. Ignore the fake news and stay tuned for official announcements!" Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra is the first part of a planned five-part franchise by Dominic Arun. Kalyani plays a yakshi (vampire) named Chandra/Neeli in the film. The next part will be headlined by Tovino Thomas, who plays a goblin named Chathan. Dulquer Salmaan is also plays an odiyan/shapeshifter in the film named Charlie. Mammootty, who plays Moothon is their leader.
