Woman Dies After Fall From Kolkata High-Rise, Police Probe Suicide Angle

26-year-old woman died after falling from a luxury apartment building in Kolkata, police said Monday. The incident took place on Canal South Road in the city's Tangra neighbourhood. The woman, identified as Gorima Ladha, was found dead at the site early Monday, a senior police officer said, reports PTI. Police said Ladha had been struggling with depression. Police also recovered an object from her hand that she may have removed before the fall, the officer added.Police suspect suicide but said the exact cause of death has not been confirmed. A post-mortem report is awaited.
