According to a report in Lets Cinema, Alia is the frontrunner to play Sumathi in Kalki 2898 AD Part 2. Talks are reportedly in the advanced stage, though the makers are yet to make it official.Confirming Deepika’s exit, the production team issued a statement citing creative and commitment-related differences. “After careful consideration, we have decided to part ways. A film like Kalki 2898 AD deserves that commitment and much more.
