Delhi: Several schools and airports across India received bomb threat emails on Sunday, putting the security agencies on high alert. The sender, who identified himself as "son of evil", warned the authorities to respond within 24 hours, warning that failing to take action would lead to a "bloodbath". The police, bomb squads, and other security teams have been deployed and launched a thorough search to take control of the situation. The threat also mentioned planting bombs at the Delhi and Jammu Airports.

According to the email received by various schools and airports, the accused claimed to be a member of a group called ‘Terrorizers 111’. Bombs have been placed around your buildings; you have 24 hours to react or face the blood pool.”According to a report by the news agency PTI, a full anti-sabotage drill was carried out at Jammu airport after a private airliner received a bomb threat email on Sunday, officials said.However, nothing suspicious was found during a thorough search conducted by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and police, without affecting the air traffic, the officials said."An email was received by a private airliner this morning, and accordingly, a security drill in such situations was followed to rule out the presence of any explosive substance. The email was a hoax," an official of the Airport Authority of India said. He said a police complaint was lodged in this connection, and further investigation is underway to identify the sender of the e-mail.

Hyderabad Airport Bomb Threat

Reportedly, panic spread at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad this morning after security officials received an email claiming that a bomb was planted at the airport. The alert came in at around 6:06 am. Security teams quickly informed the police and other agencies. The CISF and local police then carried out a full search of the airport.After a thorough check, officials confirmed it was a false alarm. They found no bomb or explosives. The airport police have registered a case and started an investigation to find out who sent the email, reported the news agency UNI.
