Perhaps that’s why, when this Indian woman finally began to live in Dubai, her sense of safety only got better. Taking to social media, the woman- Trishaa Raj- shared a video of herself taking a late-night walk in Dubai. Feeling ‘safe, free and confident’, Raj lauded the city and its women's safety status. As per the post, she was out in the streets at ‘2:37 AM’ but was still feeling secured. The woman further opened up how her life in India ‘always felt restricted’- especially at night. However, she soon realised that things were ‘different’ in the UAE.In the video, the woman was further seen welcoming
other women to visit Dubai, claiming that safety is not a concern for women there. The clip began to go viral, pulling all kinds of reactions. Most agreed with Raj, while some also suggested she should visit Chennai, calling the South Indian city equally safe for women.Times Now could not confirm the authenticity of the post.

“Growing up as a girl in India, I always felt restricted, especially when it came to going out at night. We needed our brothers or guy friends just to feel safe. But in Dubai, things are so different. The other night, I walked alone at 2:37 AM. Something I could never imagine doing back home. And you know what? I didn’t feel scared, I didn’t walk with my head down! I felt safe, confident, and free. Girls, if you’ve ever dreamed of living an independent life, where you can enjoy the night without fear, Dubai gives you exactly that,” the post read. The post was shared on Instagram, by the handle ‘Trishaa raj’. The post was shared a while back and pulled more than 53K views from people.
