Mohanlal’s association with the Territorial Army began in the year 2009, when he was inducted as an Honorary Lieutenant Colonel at a ceremony presided over by then Chief of the Army Staff, General Deepak Kapoor.Earlier this week, Mohanlal met Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi in New Delhi to receive a commendation on his Dadasaheb Phalke award and discuss matters related to the Territorial Army (TA).On the work front, Mohanlal was last seen in Hridayapoorvam, which grossed Rs 100 crore globally. He is currently shooting for director Mahesh Narayanan's Patriot with Mammootty, Fahadh Faasil and Nayanthara. The actor also begun work on director Jeethu Joseph's upcoming thriller Drishyam 3.
