Vrusshabha: Makers Of Mohanlal's Much-Awaited Fantasy Drama Announce NEW Release Date
In May earlier this year, during the occasion of Mollywood superstar Mohanlal's 65th birthday, the makers of his upcoming film Vrusshabha announced that the film will hit screens on 16th October. However,
now, the makers have shared a new release date of the fantasy drama.
Vrusshabha: Mohanlal's Film Gets A New Release Date
Vrusshabha is now set to hit screens on 6th November. Sharing the news with a new poster, Mohanlal posted on his X account "The ground shakes. The sky burns. Destiny has chosen its warrior. #Vrusshabha arrives on 6th November! #RoarOfVrusshabha #VrusshabhaOn6thNovember"Talking about why the film backed out of the Diwali race, director Nandha Kishore said OTT Play that since there are two many films releasing between October 17 and 21, which is why the makers shifted the release date. Although the film will release a few days after Ravi Teja's Mass Jathara the makers don't see it as a challenge since there is a gap of a week.
After delivering back-to-back hits with L2: Empuraan, Thudarum and Hridayapoorvam, Mohanlal is now set to enthrall fans in a new avatar with Vrusshabha. Vrusshabha marks Mohanlal’s third foray into the period action genre in recent years, following Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham and Malaikottai Vaaliban, both of which arrived with huge expectations but failed to win big at the box office.

With Vrusshabha, he appears set to revisit the genere with set against a new theme. The film shot simultaneously in Malayalam and Telugu and will also release in Hindi and Kannada, aiming for a pan-Indian appeal.Written and directed by Nanda Kishore, the film is set to have large-scale battle sequences and a storyline rooted in the emotional core of a father-son relationship, spanning several generations. Vrusshabha is presented by Connekkt Media and Balaji Telefilms in association with Abishek Vyas Studios. The film features music by Sam CS and sound design by Academy Award winner Resul Pookutty.
