Speaking at a pre-release event in Hyderabad, Y Ravi Shankar said, "I went to Chennai recently and saw Dude. It was extraordinary. This film will become a super duper hit and I am very confident about that. The performances of Pradeep, Mamitha and Sarath Kumar are so impressive that they are always one step ahead of each other."
He further added, "The trailer cut was made for the 'vibe' as it has a youthful content. Another interesting part of Dude is that the twist is new and unique. There's so much content in the film which I am very sure audiences will enjoy wholeheartedly. In Tamil Nadu and the Telugu states, we have received overwhelming response for Dude."

Ravi Shankar also wishes well for other Telugu films releasing along with the dubbed version of Dude including Kiram Abbavaram's KRamp, Mithra Mandali and Telusu Kada. "All of them have done well. Everyone including producers and distributors will be happy in September-October month," he said.In Tamil, Dude will clash with Dhruv Vikram's Bison and Harish Kalyan with Diesel.Apart from Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha, the cast for the film includes R Sarath Kumar, Hridhu Haroon, Rohini, Aishwarya Sharma, and Dravid Selvam, and others. Sai Abhyankkar is the film's music composer. The rest of the crew of the film includes Niketh Bommi as the cinematographer, Barath Vikraman as the editor, Latha Naidu as the production designer, and Yannick Ben and Dinesh Subbarayan as the stunt choreographers.
