Udhayanidhi's Son Inban To Star In Mari Selvaraj's Film?
In a recent interview with Galatta Plus, the filmmaker has also spoken about his lineup of films, while hinting at a project with Inban Udhayanidhi. Talking about choosing actors for the film he said "I always tell my actors the entire story, not just one-liners. For me, it is important that they agree to the story I have thought about. I don't want any disappointments once the film goes on floors. My stories in films are taken from day-to-day lives and real people. So one or the other story is always there."
Inban has recently been announced as the CEO of Red Giant Movies production company. His first project as a distributor was Dhanush's Idli Kadai. Videos of Inban undertaking acting classes have already been circulating on social media for a while, and it has been speculated that he will soon be making his big launch in the industry.
Mari Selvaraj had earlier collaborated with Udhayanidhi Stalin on the 2023 political action drama Maamannan, which also featured Vadivelu in a key role. The film was critically acclaimed for its raw portrayal caste hierarchy, and the unequal political system.Meanwhile, Mari Selvaraj is currently awaiting the release of Biso starring Dhruv Vikram and Anupama Parameswaran in lead roles, the film is all set to hit theatres on October 17.
