Dalljiet Kaur on her Diwali memories
Continuing the conversation with us, Dalljiet went down memory lane and reminisced her fond memories of celebrating Diwali. "My biggest memory, obviously, is to go to Gurdwara with my parents during Diwali and bursting crackers which we don't do anymore. But with Jaydon (her son from former husband Shalin Bhanot), it's always very beautiful because usually we have like a party at home and lot of people come in and we have sweets. And the same thing that happens in India, you meet everyone, you spend such a good day and there is a card party every year. So it's lot of fun."The actress added that Diwali brings a lot of 'cleansing' from within and outside. Moving on, when Dalljiet was asked about her favourite Diwali celebration on a TV show set, the actress revealed, "Every serial I have done, we have celebrated Diwali. I think the biggest excitement was that we had to do the same thing many times."ALSO READ - Yaadon Ka Diya: Divya Dutta Recalls Being Mesmerised With 'Glitter Of Diwali', Reveals This Year's Plans - EXCL
Dalljiet Kaur on Diwali celebration on TV set
Talking further about her Diwali celebrations on TV set, Dalljiet added, "Because of the whole vibe of Diwali that is created on the set, it's always been a little larger than life. Vaisi wali Diwali hum real life mein celebrate nahi karte. So I think, as such, I don't remember any particular incident, but I just remember Diwali very fondly on TV because we used to do the same thing so many times. Our celebration didn't just start on Diwali. It used to start four days in advance so that it could be telecast. So by the time Diwali came, the real Diwali didn't have that much charm (laughs)."Meanwhile, on the work front, Dalljiet was recently seen in the TV show, Dhaakad Beera as Bela.
