Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) on Wednesday, Naga Vamsi shared a photo of Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas, writing, “After 20 long months, the wizard of words #Trivikram garu is back behind the camera, joining hands with everyone’s favourite, Victory Venkatesh garu!” He added, “The OGs of entertainment are back on sets to recreate the magic once again! Produced by S Radha Krishna (Chinababu) garu.”

Fans of Venkatesh warmly welcomed the news, especially since Trivikram has penned two of the actor’s most iconic films—Nuvvu Naaku Nachav and Malliswari. However, this marks the first time Trivikram will direct Venkatesh, creating high anticipation for the collaboration. Trivikram’s last film, Guntur Kaaram, starring Mahesh Babu, met with mixed reviews and underperformed at the box office. The film featured a strong supporting cast, including Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Vennela Kishore, Ramya Krishnan, and Prakash Raj. Despite the film’s lukewarm reception, its song Kurchini Madthapetti went viral across the country.On the other hand, Venkatesh recently appeared in the second season of Netflix’s Rana Naidu, alongside Rana Daggubati, Surveen Chawla, Abhishek Banerjee, and Arjun Rampal. Earlier this year, his festive release Sankranthiki Vasthunam became a massive box office hit and held the title of the highest-grossing Telugu film of the year until it was recently surpassed by Pawan Kalyan’s They Call Him OG.
