Zubeen Garg Death: Wife Garima 'Suspects Everyone' As Manager, Event Organiser Arrested - 'Need To Know What Happened That Day'

East India Festival in Singapore, Shyamkanu Mahanta, were arrested by the Assam police on October 1.
Garima Garg 'suspects everyone'
Garima told NDTV, that suspicion hangs on everyone and she hasn't ruled out a single person alleging foul play in Zubeen's death in Singapore in September 19. "Whoever were there at the place of the incident, they are under suspicion. We have filed an FIR [first information report]. The organisers, managers, people in the team, we suspect everyone," the wife said.Entrusting faith in the country's judiciary system, Garima added, "We have full belief in our legal system, I think it [investigation] will go in a proper way. We have requested a fast-track investigation. We have to know what exactly happened that day."
About Zubeen's death
The Assamese artist's sudden demise following a scuba-diving mishap in Singapore at the age of 52, has left the entire music fraternity and India's entertainment industry mourning. He was cremated in Kamarkuchi village on September 23 with full state honours. Zubeen's death probe
Zubeen's wife, Garima Saikia, his sister, Palme Borthakur and his uncle, Manoj Kumar Borthakur, filed a complaint with Assam CID in the last week of September. The Assam government had constituted a 10-member SIT, led by Special DGP M P Gupta, to investigate Zubeen’s death at the age of 52. The SIT issued notices to several people, including Mahanta, Sarma and members of the Singapore Assam Association and those who had gone to Singapore for the festival to appear before it and record their statements.
