Ji-Young must survive each day at the palace by crafting exquisite dishes. Its core plot has managed to impress audience who find it interesting to see cross-cultural references between modern and Joseon era.

Yoona reacts to show's success

In an interview with Allkpop, Yoona expressed gratitude for the success of the show. She said, "Since the ratings have been good every episode, I’ve been surprised every day and every week. Ratings feel like something beyond my control, so I didn’t have any specific expectations. I never imagined such a big response and result."The final episode of Bon Appétit, Your Majesty aired on the September 28. It achieved record ratings, its highest yet, ranking first across all channels in its time slot.

Possible season 2?

While the show's happy ending became wholesome for most of the viewers, some thought there should've been more events leading to the closure.
