a time when the actress struggled to get good work opportunities. In a recent interview with a magazine, the Saiyaara star recalled the phase when she landed on 'scam' websites for acting auditions.

Aneet Padda recalls her acting auditions

Speaking to Cosmopolitan India, Aneet recalled the time she started searching online for acting auditions. In a bid to do so, the actress landed on 'scam' websites. In fact, she sent 50 to 70 cold mails to different production houses during lockdown, in a desperate attempt to find some credible work."Almost every production house in the Hindi film industry has an audition tape and a horrible biodata and Snapchat filter pictures," shared Aneet. Aneet Padda on Saiyaara's success

Continuing the chat, the actress reflected on Saiyaara's blockbuster success. The actress shared screen space with Ahaan Panday in Mohit Suri's romantic drama. "This film hasn’t just done well in terms of business. It takes a village to make a film, whether it was the crew, or us as actors, the direction team—everybody on set worked hard. Maybe it was just that? They (audience) could feel the heart of the film," she added.

Meanwhile, on the work front, it was reported that Aneet has replaced Kiara Advani in Maddock Films' Shakti Shalini. However, the makers soon denied the speculation with an official statement that read, "While we truly value the excitement around our horror-comedy universe, we want to make it absolutely clear that any reports regarding the casting of the upcoming chapters, including Shakti Shalini and Maha Munjya, are purely speculative."Keep following this space for more updates!
