The actor was seen entering the event premises with heavy security, and a loud cheer of fans who went crazy on seeing the Raanjhanaa star. About Idli Kadai
Idli Kadai is a Tamil-language action drama written, directed, and co-produced by Dhanush. The film marks Dhanush’s 52nd outing as an actor and his fourth directorial venture. It brings together a stellar ensemble cast, headlined by Dhanush and featuring Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, Sathyaraj, R. Parthiban, Samuthirakani, and Rajkiran. The film was officially announced in September 2024 under the working titles D52 and DD4, marking Dhanush’s 52nd film as an actor and his fourth as a director. The official title, Idli Kadai, was revealed shortly after. Filming began in Chennai and extended to locations in Thailand, with principal photography wrapping up by April 2025.

After Idli Kadai, Dhanush will appear in the upcoming bilingual film Tere Ishk Mein alongside Kriti Sanon. Scheduled for release on November 28, 2025, the film is touted as a sequel to the 2013 cult romance Raanjhanaa.
