So much in love that even after getting laid off, all this Indian woman had to say for the US was– ‘America, I Love You’. Ananya Joshi, an Indian who was living in the US, had no option but to go back to her parents after she failed to find a new position after getting let go from her previous organisation. Joshi’s social media was full of videos of her documenting her US journey. Ultimately, on September 29, Joshi shared an emotional goodbye for the US and her American life, on social media. She stated that she left her ‘American Dream’ behind, and finally ‘accepted her reality’. She further called the US her “first home as a financially independent adult” and stated how the country will always remain her “special thing”. Next, she appreciated
the “short-lived” life that America gave her. The emotional video showed her saying goodbye to her friends and boarding a plane. She then seemingly landed in Dubai, stating in comments that her parents live in Dubai. The post went viral in an instant, leaving many reacting. However, despite the video being full of tears and goodbyes, it seemingly hardly moved the netizens. Most commented how they could not relate to her ‘struggles’. Joshi graduated with a master's degree in Biotechnology from Northwestern University in 2024, as per NDTV. She was reportedly working at a biotech startup through the F-1 Optional Practical Training program. Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post.
