The debate on ‘India lacking civic sense’ is not going away anytime soon. Social media- on a daily basis- watch something or the other unfold, which often leaves the country ‘embarrassed’-- over little to no display of basic civic sense by people. The internet was reminded of something similar yet again, after a questionable picture with an even more questionable context began to go viral. As per the Reddit post on the same, a man with a reserved window seat on a train was left compelled to sit on another seat– after he found his ‘reserved seat’ occupied by another passenger’s feet! Confused? Well, the picture showed a train passenger sitting with his feet up on the ‘reserved’ window seat. With no option left, the Redditor was left to sit somewhere
else. The post went viral and left many fuming. Most advised the Redditor to speak up, while some called the post a ‘ragebate’, stating that it was the Redditor who was simply choosing not to take any action. Times Now could not confirm the authenticity of the post.
