The Family Plan 2 Trailer: Mark Wahlberg Faces Ghost From Past With Kit Harington In Action Sequel - Watch

The Morgan family is heading to England for the holidays! The sequel to Apple TV's The Family Plan (2023) finds Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Monaghan once again on the run, this time in a foreign country.

The first trailer of the action sequel The Family Plan 2 gives Wahlberg a new antagonist to go up against. Check out the promo of the family comedy below.

The sequel brings viewers up to date with the Morgans ahead of Christmas. Apple TV unveiled the trailer on social media with the caption, "Deck the halls, dodge the bad guys. The Morgans are back, this time in Europe. #TheFamilyPlan2 — Streaming November 21."

As his daughter Nina (Zoe Colletti) won't be able to make it home for the holidays, Dan proposes that the whole family travel to England to see her and spend time together. However, the family man is met with two unpleasant surprises—one being Nina's boyfriend, Omar, and the second being a dangerous nemesis (Kit Harington) who wants Dan's father's directory. The official synopsis states, "Dan Morgan (Mark Wahlberg) is many things: a devoted husband, a loving father, a celebrated car salesman. He’s also a former assassin. And when his past catches up to his present, he’s forced to take his unsuspecting family (Michelle Monaghan, Zoe Colletti and Van Crosby) on a road trip unlike any other."The Family Plan 2 also stars Peter Lindsey, Theodore Lindsey, and Reda Elazouar in supporting roles. Although the first film received low ratings from critics, it was Apple TV’s most-viewed movie for a long time after its release on December 17, 2023.
