is all set to begin 100th film which is set to be directed by Ra. Karthik of Nitham Oru Vaanam fame. While the film's title hasn't been announced yet, new report has suggested that the project will also feature his sons, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni.

As per a report by123 Telugu, it has been reported that Chiranjeevi will launch the project and many big names from the industry will be present at the occasion. Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni are likely to feature in cameo roles. The Akkineni trio has earlier shared the screen space in Manam.

Directed by Vikram Kumar, and produced by Akkineni family under the popular production banner Annapurna Studios banner. The film stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, Akhil, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Shriya Saran. Talking about his 100th project, to Jagapathi Babu on ZEE Telugu TV show Jayammu Nischayammu Raa, Nagarjuna opened up about the project. Speaking about the film, he said this film will mark his return to being a full-fledged her. Nagarjuna said, “KING100… It has been in the making for 6-7 months. Ra Karthik is directing the film; he’s a Tamil director who narrated the story to me almost a year ago. It will be a grand film. Now that Coolie has been released, I will start working on it, and my next release will be KING100. It’s a nice action, family drama movie."

Nagarjuna’s was last seen in Rajinikanth's Coolie, which hit theatres on August 14, 2025. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film featured Rajinikanth in the lead role. Rajinikanth played Devaraja, a former union leader who finds the truth behind his friend's murder. Nagarjuna played Simon Xavier, a kingpin with a haunting past. The fiery face-off between Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna was one of the film's highlights.
