actress Himani Shivpuri has shared some candid and rare memories from the early days of Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan’s relationship. Speaking in a recent interview, she recalled the actor’s late-night visits to Aishwarya on film sets, their heated arguments, and also fondly praised Aishwarya for her great personality.

Himani Shivpuri revealed that she first worked with Aishwarya in Aa Ab Laut Chalein, followed by Humara Dil Aapke Paas Hai and Umrao Jaan. Reminiscing about those days shooting Humara Dil Aapke Paas Hai, she told Red FM Podcasts, "We would shoot in Hyderabad. This was the time when she and Salman were going very strong so Salman used to come every night and leave in the morning."The veteran actress also praised Aishwarya beyond her beauty. "She was very nice and very well read and we used to talk a lot. When asked about the famous breakup between Salman and Aishwarya, she kept her response simple. "It didn’t work out. They will know best what was the problem between them," she stated. She further mentioned that she often played agony aunt to co-stars. Recalling one such incident, she shared, "I remember once we were shooting in Film City. Aishwarya was shooting with Abhishek for Rohan Sippy’s film and Salman had come. He was telling me, 'Kya hai? Isko samjhao. Waheeda Rehman ko dekhe. Apne aap ko boht khubsurat samajhti hai (You make her understand. She thinks she is very beautiful. Ask her to look at Waheeda Rehman.)' I used to tell him to calm down, to stay quiet."In an earlier chat with Bollywood Hungama, Himani had also spoken about her working experience with Salman. "Salman was such a brat. It was wonderful working with him. He would also bring food from his home, biryani and all. On the sets of Hum Aapke Hain Koun, they only served vegetarian food. So, he would bring biryani on Eid and we all used to have it.
