According to a Times of India report, as onlookers gathered and vehicles slowed down, the little monkey kept tugging at its mother’s arms and face, seemingly trying to wake her up. It let out soft cries and held onto her tightly whenever anyone approached. “It was impossible to hold back tears,” said Ramesh Patel, a passerby who promptly alerted the forest department.Acting quickly, a team from the forest department reached the spot and gently separated the infant from its mother. “We rescued the infant safely and have taken it under care. Once it regains strength, it will be rehabilitated,” said a forest official, as quoted by TOI. The tragic scene has since struck a deep emotional chord online, with social media users sharing the clip as a reminder of “mother-child bond beyond species” and urging compassion toward all living beings.
