Telangana HC Suspends Pawan Kalyan's OG Ticket Price Hike In Telangana
Pawan Kaylan's OG, directed by Sujeeth, is all set to hit theatres on September 25, with special shows planned on September 24. A few days ago, the Telangana government allowed a hike in the show's prices.
However, today on September 24, the Telangana High Court issued an interim suspension on the State Government's Order to allow special benefit shows and hike in ticket prices.
No Ticket Price Hike For Pawan Kalyan's OG In Telangana
The Telangana government allowed special shows and a hike in ticket prices for the much anticipated action-thriller. Obliging to the request made by producer DVV Danayya for the hike, the government issued an order on September 19 aimed at helping producers recover their massive production costs.According to the government order, OG’s ticket prices are Rs. 800 for premieres and Rs. 277 (single screens), and Rs. 445 (in multiplexes) for the normal shows.
Now, as the high court halted the GO, the tickets would now be sold at standard prices.
Pawan Kalyan's OG Registers Solid Advance Booking
Bankrolled by DVV Entertainment, OG grossed Rs 66 crore of advance booking at the worldwide box office, only for the opening day. The action thriller earned around Rs 40 crore of advances in India, while overseas locations contributed approximately USD 3 million plus (Rs 26 crore). Of its total overseas pre-sales, North America alone contributed around 2.2 million dollars of advance.

Produced by DVV Danayya under DVV Entertainment, the film stars Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy and Prakash Raj.The film was officially announced in December 2022, and photography commenced in April 2023 in Mumbai. The film experienced delays due to Pawan Kalyan's political work, concluding only in July 2025. The music was composed by Thaman S, while cinematography is by Ravi K Chandran and Manoj Paramahamsa, and editing by Naveen Nooli.
