The show will stream on Sony LIV.Oroduced by Aquabulls/Happy Unicorn, Kuttram Purindhavan: The Guilty One promises a tense, character-driven narrative filled with twists, moral dilemmas, and the search for redemption.

The web series will also be accessible in Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi apart from Tamil. A release date is expected in the coming days. Recently, the platform had announced a list of shows that will be released on it including Nazriya-starrer The Madras Mystery, Prabhudeva's Sethurajan IPS, Sathyaraj's Theevinai Pottru and Mirnalini Ravi's Free Love.

Pasupathy was last seen in Thandatti, a comedy drama film written and directed by Ram Sangaiah in his debut. It also stars Rohini, Vivek Prasanna and Ammu Abhirami. The film was produced by Prince Pictures and music composed by K S Sundaramoorthy, while Sam CS composed the background score.He was also seen in Thangalaan an action adventure film directed by Pa. Ranjith, who co-wrote the script with Tamil Prabha and Azhagiya Periyavan. It is produced by K E Gnanavel Raja under Studio Green. The film stars Vikram, Pasupathy, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan and Daniel Caltagirone.
