
In a daring rescue that has left the internet stunned, a man was filmed carrying an eight-foot crocodile on his shoulders after local authorities allegedly failed to respond to repeated calls from terrified
villagers in Rajasthan’s Kota district.Panic erupted in Banjari village, Itawa sub-division, on Friday night when an approximately eight-foot-long, 80-kilogram crocodile entered a family’s home. According to residents, the family was sitting together in the living room when the reptile crawled in through the front door.As per the India Today report, despite the family immediately alerting local authorities, no rescue staff arrived for a long time. In response, villagers called wildlife enthusiast Hayat Khan from Itawa, known for conducting several rescues in the region. Hayat and his team soon arrived, carrying out what locals described as a “film-like” operation. They taped the crocodile’s mouth to prevent attacks, tied its front and back legs securely, and carefully moved it out of the house. The rescue lasted nearly an hour, ending around 11 pm.In the viral video, Hayat Khan can be seen lifting the crocodile onto his shoulders as villagers cheer and clap. The reptile was safely released into the Chambal River in the Geta area on Saturday morning, India Today reported.
