Indian Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla celebrated this year's Diwali from space by sharing a video of Indian cities, including Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, and Delhi, glowing like a galaxy of lights as seen from orbit. The astronaut emphasised that it looks like watching a "living galaxy unfurl beneath you."Shukla said that one can feel the view in every fibre of your being."Flying over India from space — from the sunlit southwest to the misty northeast — is like watching a living galaxy unfurl beneath you. Saying that the "peninsula glows like a jewel," Shukla said, on the left, "Pune sparkles, below Bengaluru and Hyderabad shimmer like constellations drawn by human hands."
