Final Days and Last Rites
Reports reveal that Asrani was admitted to Bharatiya Arogya Nidhi Hospital in Juhu four days before his death, where doctors found fluid accumulation in his lungs. He passed away at 3 PM, and his last rites were performed the same day at Santacruz Crematorium.
Last Films and Legacy
Asrani’s final projects included Priyadarshan-directed Bhoot Bangla and Haiwaan, both starring Akshay Kumar and yet to release. Akshay reportedly shared feeling depressed over the loss, having worked closely with Asrani for 40–45 days. Previously, Asrani appeared in Non Stop Dhamaal and Dream Girl 2 (2023), leaving behind a legacy of humor, warmth, and unforgettable performances.
