Times Now
While fans are reeling with information about two-hour finales and full answers about the Upside Down, a new still from Stranger Things Season 5 was also shared. While it shows a wholesome moment between
the Byers and Wheeler families, who have endured a lot these past few seasons, we can't help but wonder if this is the calm before the storm for many of the characters. Here's a look at what the characters are doing in the new still.
New look at Stranger Things Season 5 involving the Byers and Wheelers
The Stranger Things photo was shared in a new interview with the creators Matt and Ross Duffer. It doesn't share any spoilers but instead captures a happy moment in the lives of the Hawkins residents. Let's break down what's happening in this cosy Byers-Wheeler breakfast with all members present. Young Holly (Nell Fisher) is ignoring everyone and reading a book. Her older sister Nancy (Natalia Dyer) is drinking orange juice while seated next to Jonathan Byers (Charlie Heaton).
The other Byers, Joyce (Winona Ryder) and Will (Noah Schnapp), are animatedly reaching for food, while the rest of the Wheelers, father Ted (Joe Chrest), mother Karen (Cara Buono), and son Mike (Finn Wolfhard), are calmly eating breakfast. In the Variety interview, it was shared that all the characters are back in Hawkins, under military quarantine. This photo is an important example of what fans can expect from Season 5. Additionally, the photo indicates this could be from Vol. 1 before the gang all congregates to defeat Vecna in the Upside Down. The joint experiences of the Byers and Wheelers have brought them closer together and could be one of those few moments of levity before the situation gets real. And let's face it, there are going to be casualties by the finale, and we're not sure if everyone will make it out intact. The final season of Stranger Things Season 5 will return on November 26 with the first four episodes for Vol. 1. Vol. 2 will release on Christmas, and the final Vol. 3 will be out on New Year’s Eve. Each volume releases at 5 pm PT.
