Deepika Padukone, Farah Khan unfollow each other?
Now, eagle-eyed netizens discovered that Farah and Deepika are not following each other. While they haven't come forward to clarify, it was also noticed that the Om Shanti Om director isn’t following her protégé’s husband, Ranveer Singh, either.
In her vlog at Rohit’s residence, Farah joked about the time it took for his mother to agree to appear on camera. She quipped, “Haan itna time toh Deepika Padukone ne nahi lagaya mujhe haan bolne mein.” When her cook Dilip asked, “Deepika ma’am kab aayengi humare show mein?” Farah teased, “Jis din tu gaon jaayega na, uss din aayegi,” adding, “Deepika ab sirf 8 ghanta shoot karti hai, usko show pe aane ka time nahi hai.”(Translation: "Even Deepika Padukone didn’t take this long to say yes to me,” Farah joked. When Dilip asked, “When will Deepika ma’am come on our show?” Farah teased, “The day you go to your village, that’s when she’ll come,” and added, “Deepika only shoots for 8 hours now - she doesn’t have time to appear on our show.")ALSO READ: Deepika Padukone Only Shoots for 8 Hours Now: Farah Khan Takes Sly Dig At Actress' Busy Schedule In New Vlog
Deepika's projects
Deepika was in talks with Sandeep Reddy Vanga to play the female lead opposite Prabhas in Spirit. However, she reportedly backed off when the makers didn’t approve of her requirements, which included an eight-hour working shift, more remuneration for extra hours of shooting, a pay hike and more. Deepika has a one-year-old daughter named Dua. After reportedly leaving Spirit, Deepika signed Atlee’s sci-fi film with Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Mrunal Thakur. The makers of Kalki 2898 AD waited for her to resume work after her maternity break. Instead, it was announced in September that Deepika is no longer associated with the sequel. A statement read, “This is to officially announce that @deepikapadukone will not be a part of the upcoming sequel of #Kalki2898AD. After careful consideration, we have decided to part ways. Despite the long journey of making the first film, we were unable to find a partnership. And a film like @Kalki2898AD deserves that commitment and much more. We wish her the best with her future projects.”Deepika is expected to start shooting for Atlee’s film by the end of the year.
