Rani told ANI, "All the actors have that experience. People who are constantly learning... I always feel, as an actor, however many years in the industry, I will always be a student of cinema. I will always learn with each film, with each director, photographer, with a person because that is what my job is. When I'm not even gone on a film set,
when I am on vacation or travelling, I am always observing people. Sometimes, I might look at someone and say, 'Okay, I want to use this character in my film. I want to use this aspect or nuance that the person did in my film. Maybe it's the way somebody walks or maybe it's the way somebody talks. Maybe it's some mannerism that I like that I will embibe in this character. As an actor, I like this part."Reacting to the original question, she added, "There will be a time for everything. I always say, in this profession, never say never. Aap kabhi bhi naa nahi bol sakte." For now, it's not something that's on the cards for her. "Not yet. I think the kind of person I am, I will know when I'm ready to direct or when that time will come. Right now, I don't think it is. I am very happy being an actor," she added. On the film front, she will be next seen in Mardaani 3.
