Padukone is wrapping the ongoing schedule of King before diving into Atlee’s sci-fi world with Allu Arjun. Amid rumours and unclarified speculations around her films, a source close to AA22 x A6 confirmed that the actress’ role hasn’t been reduced. Contrary to reports, she has a pivotal part to play in the multi-starrer commercial movie. According to a media portal’s report, Deepika will be shooting for Atlee’s film from October.

A source told Mid-Day, “There is no truth to rumours that Deepika’s screen time has been reduced. Her role has not changed from what she was offered when she came onboard in June. According to the report, the first schedule in October will be establishing her character in the film. November has been blocked for large-scale action set-pieces, which will include a chase sequence that is expected to be shot in South Korea. An insider added, “In December, the unit will move to the UAE, where Allu Arjun and Deepika will film a crucial mid-film twist and emotional scenes.”Reports state that the film will be divided equally between two timelines, 50% set in a mythological era and 50% in the present day, giving it a unique blend of fantasy, history, and modern drama.Besides Allu Arjun and Deepika, the film reportedly also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur. AA22 x A6 is tentatively releasing in 2026.
