Legendary actress Sandhya Shantaram has died at the age of 87. On October 4, reports came in that the Bollywood veteran, known for films like Navrang, Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje, Do Aankhen Barah Haath, and many more, passed away due to old age-related issues. Married to late iconic filmmaker V Shantaram, Sandhya is until today, was fondly remembered for the song Jaa Re Hat Natkhat.According to IANS, Sandhya Shantaram's last rites were performed on Saturday at Vaikunth Dham Shivaji Park in Mumbai.
