Addressing the matter on September 17, YG Entertainment stated, "We approved the use of the group name BIGBANG at the request of Coachella and the members." The clarification comes as fans had been curious about how the group name would be handled, especially since the members are no longer under YG.According to the lineup announced by Coachella on September 16, BIGBANG is scheduled to perform on April 12 and April 19, 2026 (local time). The festival, which will be held from April 10-12 and April 17-19 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, is already generating immense buzz.
