Instead, she inquired if my father had any kind of disease, checked all the DNA background — from my uncles and aunts to know exactly how the children would be. After all that, she finally decided to marry me. Twinkle Khanna Shares How She Ended Up Marrying Akshay Kumar
Twinkle Khanna recalled how destiny brought her and Akshay together. She said, “My father had an astrologer who once said that I would marry Akshay Kumar and at that time, I didn’t even know him. Later, I actually did marry him! We met because of my dad. He had an old producer friend and told me, ‘You have to work in this movie because I have given my word.’ I didn’t want to work with Akshay then because he was going through a bad phase, and I was being a bit snobby.”
