Ekta Kapoor showered a lot of love and praise on Smriti Irani. She said, “Smriti spoils you for other actors. You give her a scene, and she makes your character come more alive than you imagined. It creates envy in you that someone knows your character better than you, and admiration. When I saw 'Kyunki Ki' back on air, like the viewers, I personally also felt this would work." Ekta Kapoor also admitted that bringing back Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi was damn scary for her. She stated, “I remember telling Smriti that we had serious thrill issues to do this. If we are anything, we are bold and not scared.
