Dulquer Salmaan’s production house basks in the success of Lokah, it has recently found itself embroiled in controversy. A woman has filed a complaint alleging that she was subjected to a casting couch incident involving an individual claiming association with the company.

As reported by Asianet News, the complaint specifically names Associate Director Dhinil Babu. In response, Dulquer Salmaan’s production house promptly filed official reports with Thevara Police Station and FEFKA, clarifying that Dhinil Babu has no connection to the company and has not worked on any of their projects.

Details of the Allegation

The woman alleges that Dhinil Babu contacted her under the pretext of offering a role in a Wayfarer Films production. She claims he invited her to meet at a building near the company’s Panampilly Nagar office. Upon meeting, the woman alleges that Dhinil took her into a room and attempted to assault her, threatening that she would be blacklisted from future opportunities in the Malayalam film industry if she resisted. The production house clarified that all legitimate casting calls are announced exclusively through their verified social media platforms. They also issued a warning to aspiring actors, urging them to be cautious and not fall victim to fraudulent offers.In light of the complaint, Ernakulam South Police have registered a formal case and launched an investigation.
