Pradeep Ranganathan's Dude directed by Keerthiswaran's Dude, co-starring Sarath Kumar, Mamitha Baiju in key roles, has grossed more than 100 crore from theatres worldwide within the first six days of its release. The movie which hit cinemas on 17th October, received positive response upon release.

The film's producer Mythri Movie Makers, announced the news with a post on social media. This comes as a milestone in Pradeep Ranganathan's career, as Dude marks his third consecutive Rs 100-crore earning film at the box office. Previously, Pradeep Ranganathan's Dragon which released in 2025 earned Rs 100 crore, Love Today released in 2023 (also directed by him) earned Rs 100 crore as well. Pradeep Ranganathan's directorial project, Comali, starring Ravi Mohan, went on to earn Rs 91 crore. At 33, Pradeep Ranganathan has become After Dude's Rs 100 crore achievement was declared, fans took to the comments section to congratulate the star. One posted "PR we are happy for your growth". A day earlier, the makers call it "the biggest blockbuster of the Diwali season." At the recent event where the cast and crew expressed their thanks to the public for making Dude a success, director Keerthiswaran said that the numbers signify the public's likeability for the film. Keerthiswaran also expressed his gratitude to the audience for making his debut directorial a special one. The director said that the film's message (honour killing) is not new for Tamil Nadu and that it is passed on from several in the state. He also promised to keep trying to make films with such messages in an entertaining way going forward. "That is my assurance," Keerthiswaran said.

Talking about the film's success, Pradeep Ranganathan said he was thrilled to see the positive reception the film is getting. "I am so happy to see that audiences are loving the film, I am beyond thrilled because this is my first Diwali release. I will watch the film once again with audience during the festival of Diwali."Dude also stars Sarathkumar, Rohini, Neha Shetty, and Hridhu Haroon. Dude hit theatres alongside Mari Selvaraj-Dhruv Vikram's Bison and Harish Kalyan-Athulya Ravi's Diesel.
