Wiig and Laila Lockhart Kraner's Gabby's Dollhouse is all set to hit Indian theatres on October 17, 2025. In Ryan Crego's film, Kristen will be seen playing the role of Vera - The Cat Lady. Ahead of the film's big screen release, Kristen exclusively spoke to Zoom about transforming into her character. The actress expressed that she loved the process of figuring out Vera through her costumes.

During an exclusive conversation with us, Kristen Wiig mentioned that her character Vera is now older in the film and has lost her sense of joy. However, she sees the 'little cats' and 'dollhouse' as something that she just wants to own.

Talking about her transformation, Kristen told us, "I loved the process of figuring out who Vera was through her costumes. There were so many tiny details, little cat buttons. With the hair and the makeup, I felt much more like Vera after those fittings."Director Ryan Crego praised the Gabby's Dollhouse actress. "She’s such a professional, and she just gives you so many options to choose from. The hardest thing to do is to edit a scene with Kristen because you have 90 different versions and they’re all hilarious," he said.

Steven Schweickart, who is a producer on Gabby's Dollhouse, also mentioned what he loves what Vera - The Cat Lady.
